Websites are made up from web pages. Some go to 50 pages or more! Still, a webpage, or web page, as it is called, is one page. Sometimes the one page sites are referred to as ‘mini-sites’. I like to think of them as an advertisement! The reason I put up one page websites is to sell something. In order to sell something my site has to satisfy some conditions.
It has to offer a solution to somebodys problem! There are any number of problems when it comes to the human condition, and, if you have a solution to the problem, you can probably sell it online. So a relevant example would be a site that sells web software and a tuition course for that software. Website making software is one of the biggest sales catagories on the web. That’s precisely because they can be used for so many different things AND be made to reach those people who are interested in that websites offering.
What if you were a piano dealer? When you run an advertisement in the newspaper people who need tires for their car see your ad for pianos. That’s a bad match. But, when you make a website about the history of pianos? the people who type a search query into the Google box like ‘history of pianos’ may discover you almost immediately. That’s relevance. These people are NOT looking for tires. Otherwise they would have typed in ‘tires’!

Here are five tips on how you can use two-tier affiliate programs to create a residual income of your own.
- If you are not a successful affiliate marketer it is difficult to recruit affiliates in the two-tier programs. Therefore, it is important that you spend time becoming an expert at affiliate marketing including how to make money online doing it.
- It is easy to join two-tier affiliate programs, but you must focus your attention on learning everything you can about the products and making personal sales. You can pass on your expertise to the affiliates you recruit once you have become an expert on a specific product.
- When you choose an affiliate program to join the offers a second-tier program, pay attention to both levels of commission. Obviously the higher the commissions on the first level the more money you make on your personal sales. Equally as important is the percentage of commission paid on the second level. It is somewhat a numbers game because you cannot do the work for a person, nor can you control their work ethic or motivation. If you spend the majority of your time selling, and some of it on recruiting, eventually you will develop an online business that has residual income coming in.
